    Hi all,

    What a great forum!

I've recently joined, wondering if T2 ownership is the life for me. (Well me, my better half, and 3 kids)

We parted ways with a more modern camper in the pandemic and are starting to wonder if an older bus might be the way to go.

I'm hoping my itch doesn't need medical attention and I find some helpful advice from people who've had the same problem.

Anyway, I thought I'd post a quick "hello" and introduce myself.

If you add an awnings and a trailer they are fab for five. other than that buy a bigger bus.

Welcome along if you get one i'd go for a moonraker and an awning they are fab really.

there is probably an ointment you can get for your itch; it'll be cheaper than a bay!! :)

You’ve joined the forum, you’ve read the rubbish we mostly talk, and you still want to buy a T2 camper?? You’re as mad as the rest of us, Welcome! :)

  7. Hi - welcome from West Lancashire - we have a T2 Westy which is a bit crowded with me, Mrs Cunny and the dog and a driveaway awning makes for more room - although we don't use the "upstairs" bed (which is temporarily removed to save weight) - going to put it back as we might be selling shortly though - good luck with your search .

    Thanks for the warm welcome.

I wanted to go in to this endeavour eyes wide open, and there's lots of great advice here.

I'm sure there will be loads of questions to come, but plenty to read up on first.

Welcome ! It can be an expensive hobby, or time consuming. Since buying a T2 in 2010 it has changed my life.. time, pleasure , cost..
