right im fiddling with my poor womans interior a bit lol the picture below shows a cupboard on the left with a blue unit and a piney colour one inside...i want a lightweight door in white or green for it should i just cut a bit of perspex round the corners off and use that ? or any other ideas...or black maybe the unit under the window with the cooker stood on needs the front recovering , i have cut strips of perspex type cladding for outside your house and stacked it im not entirely happy with the idea as ive whitewashed the other wood...anyone got any other ideas or i could cover that in black perspex but ill have to wait for some.... or metal sheet? sorry brain isnt good still sick and need to finish this and put it to bed hehe :O or should i just forget all that and make something new altogether?

Some thin plywood would do the job and you could whitewash it to match your existing wood As you only need some small bits you may get some offcuts or seconds cheap at the builders merchants
how about fabric, hemmed with curtains wire top and bottom. 2 pieces so they can be opened like curtains... i'm thinking like the 50's dressing tables or the fabric behind chicken wire a la new england kitchen dresser. but then, i would
lol ermintrude i sat and thought that earlier but the drawers would still manage to open behind it and may turf their goodies out!...might be a way though!
