im putting my engine back in the bus, and ive had to tackle the tangle of wires left in there for the last 40 yrs, i removed the voltage reg only disconnected wires on it and the rubber plug that would have went to the dynamo the badly wired relay for the leisure battery,, so now im looking to supply the coil, it must have been a switched feed from the ignition switch , so where can i find one...? the old cable came from the leisure batt relay... but cant find what switched the relay what does the spade connection on the alt do...? not the large cable..
coil and carb small black one comes out of the main loom in the right hand side of the engine bay the spade on the alt goes to the dash warning light
and a feed should be piggy backed off of the small spade on the alternator to provide a supply to one side of the coil of the LB charging relay. The other side of that coil goes to ground.
