    I might want to record my playlists from Grooveshark to play in the van...

    Anyone do this? I need some software to automatically tag the songs correctly..

    ::)

  2. Firstly if your gonna do it, do it quick. Grooveshark is currently under multiple lawsuits and is unlikely to be around long.

    There are many, free, music recording softwares about that will save your streaming music but I'm not away of any that will auto identify the songs. You would either need to watch the track listing and copy the info into the files or use something like spotify to ID them

  3. grooveshredder looks like it can do this, its a firefox extension.
    I use spotify premium so I have it installed on a few laptops, tablets and mobiles which I use in the van anyway. But it looks like someone has written an app to record that too if the day comes when I dont want spotify premium any more and want to save my playlists.

    Can't get grooveshredder to work - says it is, but no files saved anywhere. :(
    Anyone else?

  5. Use a simple audio recorder. One like free record, it records any sound that is passing through your sound card regardless of where it is coming from
