I finally have somewhere nice to work when I am home

It is finished (or is it a fine shed).

That is a den. Very nice job. Just need a 50" tv a play station and a fridge full of beer.

I like that a lot. It's just a shame my garden is nowhere near as big as that. I've lived in flats smaller than that shed!!

It all started back in January, this was the garden, lots of old patio with a filled in pond and the poly tunnel and vegetable beds behind the middle hedge, you could spend a whole day in this doing back breaking work and it looked no different, it was kind of getting us down and we considered moving to run away from it.


Decision made and we went looking at cabins, figured we could squeeze in a 5.5 x 4 Metre building fairly easily so got the boys round with a digger.


The idea was to make the garden as user friendly as possible and the play area can be reclaimed over time. From now on it is going to be a bit of lawn mowing and hedge cutting. Small OP and her friends love the play area and we have already had a birthday party in the cabin. It is not supposed to be my office but I am allowed to use it for work so long as I pack everything away when the evening/weekend comes. It is nice to have somewhere to sit and listen to music again, who knows I may even pick up a book again too.
