I’m worried

  1. Yes I do. For two reasons

1 we have a fixed term parliament. So he’s not going to get voted out in a general election

2 that leaves him being removed/stabbed in the back by his own party, which is normally how the torys like to do things. But as we know politicians are essential self serving pigs, and who’s gonna try and take his job at the moment?

I suspect that most torys would like to lose the next election, then watch labour having to deal with the covid debt, whilst still being tied to handing out all the free money that they will undoubtedly offer in their manifesto. The torys will then spend the next four years accusing the Labour Party of being the party of borrowing and of austerity.

    Politicians you gotta love um.

  2. Keep an eye on Graham Brady, Chairman of the 1922 Committee.....

  3. Ah yes. Hatchet Brady. I’m sure he will be quietly working out which lamb to sacrifice as Tory leader for the next election.

move out borris, install someone like Jacob Rees Moog, kills two birds with one stone, it will finish his career and they’ll hope he will slope off quietly to the lords, and ensure they are unelectable. Leaving Professor Hindsight Mr Starmer to carry the can for a few years.

  5. I think you’d need to have a screw loose to want to be in power now or next term, no matter what political side of the fence you are on.

interesting that trump and borris both had Covid. Thankfully it didn’t kill either of them, I’m not sick enough to wish that on anyone, but it’s killed trumps presidency and I think it will do for borris as well.

but then going forward we will probably have a labour prime minister next and the covid debt and the lack of spending after years of promising to wave a magic wand from opposition it will probably do for them as well.

I think I will stick to heating.

  6. I find it sad if The two opposing parties try to claim victory or assume it
And then violence ensues ,I don’t think it is worth the loss of any life..but I reckon there will be
    :(
