Hydraulic Trolley Jack

  1. How high is it from the floor to the top of the saddle when fully extended?

  2. 52cm (20.5") according to the website.

  3.
  4. So how does the web offer work do you buy it online and collect at your local store?

I was going to be getting a new trolley jack for fathers day but funds have recently been depleted with normal life stuff

The reviews seem good on it and its a fair price if its as good as is made out to be

Ive been using a smaller trolley jack for the last few years with blocks of wood on the saddle to add extra height

However after the bus slipping the other day and launching a chunk of 3"x2" timber into my jaw ive decided its not the best approach

  5. I had the 3 tone jack over that one when I brought mine much better handle and bigger lifting pad I think

  6. I just ordered it online and paid the £40 instore and collected it was brilliant. Halford text you an order number which you give when you collect. It was easy, my husband has used it this evening and it's really good...I wish the same could be said for our brakes!!!!!!

  7. ....and should think that the 3 tonne jack was alot more pricey, this lifts upto 2.25....at £40 this is a real bargain!

  8. Just done the stock check thing and it wont let me buy online and collect at my local store only at a store further away

  9. They have put the price of the 3 tone jack back up I did not pay a 100 think is was around 60 , also got a good deal on a top and bottom box for 200 .
Some times that do good deals then put the price back up then drop it again after a while , god only knows why

  10.
  11. Hi Paradox, why dont you get it delivered, it's free at the moment too!!

  12. how heavy are campers roughly? my seatbelt reel is smack bang in the way of the weight indication panel behind drivers seat, is it over 2 tonnes?

    :)

  13. Collected one today as a fathers day present

Ill give it a try tonight once the little uns not hanging off my trouser leg

  14. I've no idea how heavy, s'pose it depends on the furniture inside etc but it lifted our bus easily!

I'd be interested what know what those of you who brought one think!

  15. I bought one when they were much more expensive  Did get free axle stands with it though.

Only used it once so far but seemed fine. It's the first trolley jack I've used so don't really have an point of reference but it lifted the van without any drama. I'm sure there are better ones out there but, especially at this price, I think it's probably a good buy for amateur tinkerers.

The only drawback I noticed was that at its lowest setting, it's still too tall to fit under our lowered van. Had to roll the van onto a couple of wee wooden blocks to raise the axle high enough to get the jack under it.
