job i did this morning customer couldnt aford a new drive so ive cleaned it and coated it and it looks amazing
o yes i forgot that bit tarmaseal its 100 quid a tub and normaly covers 40 mtrs deepending on texture of tarmac and you just roll it on
Ooh - can you sort out my trousers that have a stain due to me splashing some sunflower oil on them ...??
@kev ...do you lay tarmac drives? I need someone local (Bolton) to do my driveway, preferably this summer....tried a few companies but the lead times are shocking....
There a few "companies" on Merseyside that might want to, do do dont de do, do it for you. "Tarmachx yer driyve mayte?"- "got some tarmach left over from a job...."
Which is weird because the guys that offer to do it for my mum are always working up the road and have some left over, best quality, half price, laid rought here rought now missus...
when the last cheroot-smoking posse swaggered up in betassled shirts and Stetsons, I confess I did have certain reservations....all the neighbours closed their shutters, and the piano-man stopped playing
@kev is there a sealant that can be used on block paving to stop it getting stained and moss growing etc?
think they do special rates for befuddled pensioners, provided they go with them to the speedbank.....
Ah, you are missing one of the primary benefits of block paving in you simply replace the blocks stained with new ones. Alternatively you could save them as I do and make a collage of a famous historical figure or someone that has inspired you. As I wait for enough oil stained blocks for Che Guevara, I've stacked mine to the left, it gives the neighbours the optical illusion of a speed blur, thus making them slow down for the nearby dangerous junction.
