How to cope with iPhone lose

Yep, it happened, lost the iPhone (then got toothache then the DB I was working in bit me :-(

N E way. point is, how do you get to all those contacts etc in that backup you fortunately did once?

Found a useful bit of software that's linked to in the top of these instructions. Got most of my contacts and all my pics back. Hurray

Looks very useful. I'd be stuffed if I lost my iPhone...

 

Worked great, managed to extract all my contacts, sms and pics ^-^ ^-^

 

For next time when you sync, sync contacts with outlook

 

Don't use Outlook, never got on with it...

 

I don't use outlook but it gives you a backup of your contacts that you can manage yourself
