Allowing for inflation that's the equivalent today to £17850, the current VW T6 campers start at around £55k
Yes, Bought my Kombi bus new in 1976, paid the equivalent of £2,900 in local currency, Nigerian Naira. Full price without fiddling on the unofficial exchange rate would have been £4,100. This is the reason I still have and love my bus......its about the only time in my life when I scored!! Tony
I have a Nigerian cousin who is a wealthy prince he recently emailed me to tell me he has a lot of money to give me, I had to transfer £5000 for admin charges, when I get the money I'm going to buy a Nigerian bus
Sadly where you are changes house prices but not bus prices. Further south the house would have been more expensive. To someone like @Barry Haynes darn sarf a bus would have been tips money.
