  1. Debating wether to buy a full set plus cusion covers, fully lined etc

anyone know how much fabric i would need to buy????

or make a set, all depends what the fabric will cost and if i have the time b4 volksworld ::)

  2. Im in the middle of making some for my T2 .I bought 12 yards as this is what someone said .Im not sure really what they are going to look like until they are up ( gather wise). My vans in the garage for a few month so I basically went off the measurements of a camper curtains website to make the curtains.
I ordered the fabric from hawaii and have put a decent lining in and 1 inch header tape .

  3. My mother has made me some amazing Gingham check curtains in green. Two quid a yard, total job forty quid. Pics will follow

  4. I think we worked out we could get 2 rear side windows from 1 metre, and I think we planned on 2 curtains per window as that is what we have now. We bought 4 metres of a mega expensive but very heavy and good quality Cath Kidston fabric so should have enough spare to make cushion covers. Haven't had the chance to make a start on it yet.

  5.
  6. A quote of VW camper curtains for supplying your own fabric of the back of her flyer is:

    Presuming 54" BAY/SPLIT 6 meters.

I think thats per fabric so another 6 meters for lining

    Scott.

  7. I've bought 12 metres of some cracking retro flowery material from Ikea @ £3.99 a metre - hopefully by doubling up it'll negate the need for lining and the pattern will be on both sides
