2002 3 Door 2.0 Diesel Peugeot 307. My wife's car. 2004 5 Door 2.0 Diesel Peugeot 307 SW - on longterm loan to daughter. 1975 VW T2 camper, people mover and daily driver, used for maybe 10 trips into work in a year , also mostly used as a working from home office 8h/day 5 days/week on the remainder of the working year. So we are burning much less fuel than in the past. I really dont like modern car styling, big blobby ugly boxes full of computer crap, I just want a new 307SW. I expect the replacement for my wife's car has already been built and will be a 3 to 4 year old ex-lease self-charging hybrid that basically minimally meets clean air zone requirements.
2004 Skoda 1.9 tdi, the wife’s daily. She’s had it for years and it’s fairly bomb proof. My daily 2003 Merc C270 cd, 5 cylinder turbo diesel, same engine as a Sprinter van, but without a van to lug around. 50mpg on the motorway, limited to 150mph. Well comfy but expensive if it goes wrong, it doesn’t much. Dougal the 1978 Devon (Moonraker I think looking at layouts in Devon adverts). 1985 Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera, when I want to sell it I go for a drive and come back grinning. 2005 Harley Davidson 1200 Sportster, used for holidays mainly, it’s been around much of the coast of the British isles and to Spain. I’ve only blown it up once, it took two years to fix. 1969 Honda CL450 ‘Scrambler’, my little runaround, the wife won’t go on the back because there’s no grab rail. 1974 Kawasaki Z1-A, 900cc. For sale but at silly money because it’s like new. I’m old enough to retire but as all of these are on the road I need money for insurance, and tax on the more modern stuff. Luckily two bikes and the van are Historic so no road tax. Ironically I also use my old person’s travel pass to gad about all over Greater Manchester, because it’s a free day out.

It is indeed ...how much petrol or diesel would you pay for if you had to push your car 15 miles from home if you ran out of fuel .
So you’re the reason Polar bears’ habitats are disappearing??? Hope you’re proud of yourself!!! I’m writing a stern letter to the Grauniad right now!
