How many oscars does it take to change a fuse?

    Only one, but 4 weeks to find it! :D

    On the plus side my bus now works again, I have a new ignition switch, my horn now works and understand a bit more about van electrics. :)

    Anyone else got any good clangers?

  6. stripped a cv joint just for a look and I was bored anyway,(done in a lay by) on reassemble I assembled it incorrectly so locked it up ,rendering it useless(remember ,no real need to strip!) so 6mile walk and £32 later ! will pay attention next time !

    I left an oil seal off the oil cooler when I built my engine back up, put engine back in and started it up :( oil *******ing out all over, I thought it was knackered I had to remove engine and strip it down till i found it Doh

  9. I thought the jack from my Audi A2 would be OK to use when I changed a wheel.

    It wasn't up to the job. It ended up a very different shape to when I started.
