How many Latebayers tow a vintage caravan??

On my 'dream list' there is an Eriba Puck to have behind our bus, but seeing as that's not realistic because of the price of these things we're looking for something like a Thomson Mini Glen or a Sprite 400 or similar.

How many of you guys have a vintage caravan behind your bus and what do you have???

 

Why would you need one with a camper? I can imagine having one if you had an old vw car....

 

or if you have loads if kids like me i would love to have one

We have 5 boys

We do have a massive awning but we like to still go camping in the winter and just thought that perhaps a little caravan would be warmer and cosier for the older boys and also maybe have a shower and toilet for them.

 

No,they are usally fast asleep before i turn in.

In my defence though I do run a small cake business and was thinking that it would be great to take to festivals etc and be able to sell the cakes etc from it

But IMO as soon as you tow anything behind your camper you might as well have a car and a caravan. You need another camper.

 

I have 4 brothers, so 5 boys. My mum said 2 boys is plenty and the last 3 were supposed to be girls (youngest comes close). 5 boys later and she wasn't going to risk 6. Does this sound familiar at all

 

Does to me, but my mum had more sense and gave up after 3 boys and we gave up after 2.

 

She got her way in the end, lots of Granddaughters

 

Reckon you need a Pane Van to go with the camper, boys in the Camper you in the panel with the "business" - chomp on cake all night if they keep you awake!

 

WE gave up after 2 girls - it wasnt worth the risk!!!

We used to tow an old Sprite behind a 1600 Transit, lovely van but it was a hell of a weight. Steel chassis, built like a brick out building and heavy furniture. It reduced the MPG from about 30 to 10

 

@bernjb56 would to have one to tow behind his wood collecting single cab, but I believe @JennyB has put a stop to those ideas
