How do folk who are flooded out cope...?

  1. I live on the slopes of the Malvern Hills and during the last 2 hours a drain on my drive (which slopes back to the garage) became blocked - 2 " of water in the garage - and the garage is above the level of the house - so I've just spent the last hour trying to get it all out before it flooded the new kitchen!!

So, drain un-blocked, garage floor swept and water soaked up and put in buckets, new doors stored in garage saved, tools moved etc, etc - a right pain in the backside - it just made me think of the poor sods who lose everything, all they can do is watch the water rise.

I hope none of my mates on TLB are in this position if you or anyone you know is I hope you are able to save all that is precious to you and good luck.
    Cheers

    Tuesday wildchild I'm a circle!

    Good work stopping the flood.

We may have a river at the bottom of the garden but it would have to rise about 10ft before it touched the house and that would mean the town had already gone so I don't worry.

    Hope others stay dry.
