thought i would wire me horn up on a push button switch wired it up no problems but now ive put it in place every time the horn goes of my turns off radio amp as well they are on the same fuse box but not connected together both are coming of the leisure battery am i drawing to much juice for the horn
If you're switching the horn in the earth lead, as in the original, it'd be unwise to connect it to a +ve feed on the fusebox...you'd be shorting the battery out. Hopefully there's a fuse somewhere.
im not sure what ive done its not original its just a push button maybe ive wired it wrong on the button i didnt think it would matter thou as im only making a curcuit got bored trying to sort it out so ive just been for a spin around town while the suns shining
horn normally is wired + from fuse box to horn and - from horn to horn button which completes the earth. It does sound like your shorting something causing a voltage drop which is making the amp go off. Any burning smells?
this is how ive wired it all i can think thats different to how it was before i put all togethr properly is the wires on the back of the button
