….like a fuse, bad earth/s, or a short. But indicators and lights work but the corresponding dash indicator lights don’t, either does the general dash light or headlight dash light. I might be wrong but I think it started when I turned the hazards on. Anyone had this before? Tricky to see and feel up behind the Speedo. But going to have a look over the weekend. Some of the fuses look a bit thin and misshapen.
Cheers @Zed. Behind the speedo up round the back of the dial? Always looks like a bit of a birds nest here and a bit tricky to see and feel. I’m imagining the cluster Earth is multiple earths going to a common screw or nut?
There's a star earthing point on the back of the instrument pod that may have become disconnected from the body earth.
Couple of new instrument bulbs and a bit of a fiddle and a squeeze round the back (as they say!) and all good again.
Did you change the bulb in the actual hazard flasher switch? .. theres one in there too on mine, why it has a translucent red cover. Good that it was just a loose bulb.
I can’t remember if that was flashing or not. Think it was? Will double check. Had to change 2 bulbs- indicator and beam. So bright on the instrument panel now. Lovely.
