Homemade waxoyl

  1. You get waxoyl in spray paint can sizes now, can’t advise on if it’s better or worse but should be easier to install!

Bring back the days when you could drive to a garage and have your car oil sprayed for a fiver .

  3. Can I double check the receipe in the original post... 2kg candles should surely be half a kg of candles?

  4. Just buy the bilthamber stuff made for the purpose and save the candles for this winters power cuts

    This.

And buy the Dynax direct from Bilthamber. Only an idiot would buy it from a reseller and pay 15 quid more. Ask me how I know

  6. Memories: a zillion years ago WaxOyl launched from an address up in Prudhoe, Northumberland and was only available through the post. Its creepy benefits echoed what the later products also rightly stated, so I invested in two five-litre cans of the magical stuff.

I spent a merry day crawling under the bus scraping off the accumulated mud of past years and then liberally hand-brushed the WaxOyl all over, under and inside every surface I could reach.

A couple of weeks later England had one of the hottest days on record. When I came out of work, the bus was standing in an expensive lake of WaxOyl...
