  2. Agreed but you won`t believe the amount of flack around at the moment with local councillors in denial saying tier 2 (high) is far too strong for the good folk of `That London` who don`t deserve such oppressive measures because everyone is being really careful ...

    Yeah right

    :hattip:

  3. I'm not sure about this image. I can't see anyone wearing a face covering and I can't believe there would not be one, can anyone else see one?

Before all this our hospital capacity was cut along with nurse numbers. Now, which tier you are in depends on hospital capacity. Wonder how much the Nightingale (none staffed) hospitals have a bearing on North Yorks and Cockerney town being in tier 2?

However never mind that we will see come January

  7. Are you saying that the Daily Mail would misrepresent the truth
We went to the Christmas tree farm this afternoon and wore our masks in the partially enclosed areas. The flying banana is an excellent tree collecting vehicle.

  8. I’m so pleased that the flying banana
got your tree home nipper :)

I should check your anti freeze... now it’s getting a bit chilly Wilfey nipper :D

  11. Its now up and looks fabulous with all the lights on. I use that premixed stuff and replaced it all at the beginning of the year when I had a problem with the filler cap and lost the coolant all down the road. You should have seen the amount of mud I had to hose off after going down the country lane and farm track.

  12. The first picture is believable, lots wearing masks. Bit sceptical about second picture no masks and no one older than 20 or so

Just been reading reports of shopper numbers down 25% on this time last year. I guess you can use selected pictures to make any point you choose.

  14. The Daily Telegraph have also used the photo where no one is wearing mask apparently was outside Harrods. So the point is that a number of young people are clearly not bothered.

Angle foreshortens the distance between people.
    Outside.
Not told to wear a mask outside.
    Ergo - no issue.
Whether sensible is another thing, but no issues with this photo.

Young farmer youth aged 33 our way ...Derbyshire peaks .
Strapping great chap non smoker fit as a butchers dog no health issues , got C 19 killed him .
I know it's not so much of a worry for the younger generation but beware ...some are not resilient to this virus .

  19. :(...so sad..

Many have died , and many will have long term effects,
Yet I've seen so many locally not giving a flying..
So people are selfish and don't get it..even something as simple as keeping their distance...
