Hi all, First post on this, so bare with me. Cant get my mainbeam to turn off when lights are on. Switch has no click in it anymore. So I dismantled and examined switch, maybe a couple of brass parts missing having looked at another one dismantled pic on the web. All indicators working fine, so just need a way to get mainbeam on and off. Main beam off will do, so I can nip back to MOT man and get the certificate, it was all working when he did that bit, bar a headlight, hense where the problem started. Has anyone got one of these switches, or any advice welcome? Thanks Chris
have you checked your relay as that was my problem and im pretty sure your main beam has to work for the mot
Thanks for the info, I will check the relay, the MOT has been done and he has seen it all working bar a headlight, which I have sorted. So if I can get it so that the mainbeam is off and nip back to show headlights working, the pass is mine. Then I can look at long term solution.
