Heavy Duty water tap for my smev sink

Does anyone know of a good quality single cold water tap that would fit my smev sink - at the moment i have had 3 comet taps £19 off ebay, they do the job for 6 months then break, (I know, buy cheap buy twice!) or three times in my case ! i m a bit fed up of replacing them now lol !!

What breaks? is it the microswitch or the thing itself?

 

Its just the switch that fails everytime

 

You can fit an inline microswitch - I have a Whale one - it kicks the pump in when a tap is opened takes a bit of fine tuning but works everytime.

 

Fit a relay; the pump probably exceeds the switch rating.
