Heat exchangers - oval to square

Hey All,

Just a thought has anyone converted oval shapes heat exchangers to the later square shape?

 

It is said that it can be done, just chop off the extra pipe.

 

That's what I thought just don't wanna buy them if it doesn't work

 

It's probably less than ideal. More the kind of thing you do after buying a squareport head by mistake. If it were me I'd put a wanted thtead up on here if you haven't already.
