Do vans and beetles have the same heat exchangers? I've gone to connect mine and the connection is at the bottom... But my connection cable is at the top... Any ideas?
The (type 1) exchangers are the same, but the linkage on the side differs. Beetle ones (from memory) have an additional lever on the side. You may have to rivet/weld on an extension at the top to get the correct operating direction for a van. Have a Google...there'll be pics out there somewhere. Other than that, no difference.
