Great pics. Last month I came home to find my wife (who's originally from Eastern Europe) sitting in the bath, drying her hair with a hairdryer at the same time. I shouted 'are you bloody crazy?' as I unplugged the thing. She had no idea what all the fuss was about. She's lived here for years but still got the attitude as if she were still living in her home country - no concept of Health and Saftey at all. That said, I do love going to see folks. Over there you kind of feel a bit of relief from all the Heath and Safety culture over here (some of which is total nonsence). You can smoke in pubs, clubs and restaurants too.
i love the bomb pic , can you imagine how fast the truck driver ran , or did he nose dive across the bomb ;D
Xcelent pics, seen those Hiabs crawling up the sides of mountains in CH. that one with the ladder in the water with the guy and the drill, that's so 'What happened next' Thanks s
There is a clip where a guy drives his forklift through a door way and reaches out to grab a clipboard as he goes past and cuts his arm off.
And I was surveying in the city with another guy once. We were about 20 stories up. We had to do the "sister" building as well. There was a gap between the two about 6-8ft, with a 1ft parapet wall on both buildings and the roofs were covered with pebbles. Down the lift and back up?
thats me ^^^^^ doing the lifting theres a bloke at work who s a complete accident he loves the whole h & s thing makes him feel important but he overstretched on some step ladders (even though we had a scissor lift on site)fractured his skull and got a blood clot on his lung 7 weeks later he ran a circular saw through his wrist by cutting plywood and holding it underneath and we still have to shout at him for over stretching and getting to close to saw blades etc he is capable of being in any one of these photos apart from the fork lift one we wont let him drive one
