Headlamps lens reversal for MOT?

I have got LHD lenses on my headlights. When it comes to the MOT can I just rotate them 180 degrees to get them through the MOT?

 

No, the dip will be upwards!
Buy some Mk1 Golf ones as they're not subject to (as much) scene tax.
I paid £25 for a new pair!

I really miss those bits of black tape people used to put on going to that there Europe......though I do notice none of them there Johnny Foreigners used to sport the same coming here....
