As some of you may know, we rather unceremoniously broke down in North Devon on the Big Sunday weekend. Eventually bit the bullet and bought a new ignition coil (£140) and fitted it this morning... A deep breath, crossed fingers, a turn of the key, and.... VRROOOOOMMMM.... To say I'm happy would be an understatement! Off to the seaside later for fish and chips to celebrate. He has the alternative engine from a grown up Beetle in the back. Glad you got it running. Where did you get the coil from in the end??
