I ve been on this forum for about a month and its the 1st VW forum I ve subscrbed to. Reading various posts I ve noticed the ammount of "fun and games" folk have been having or have had. I ve had my van for 4 years and so far have: New anti roll bar, the level crossing was nt that level Bits of steering gear Gas shocks; for the hell of it Pair of tyres Lost count of CV boots! Clutch cable ( joyus 50 mile drive across the Dales on a sleety winters night. Had spare but old one would nt shift from pedal linkage!) Fuel lines ,filters,oil etc When it has broken down Jeremy Clarkeson could have fixed it,sticking starter and carb linkage falling apart Body and paints not brilliant but solid. Done 25000 miles since we got her and a lot of them have been in winter too. So is this normal, below par? My VW buddies have been more involved with theirs doing resto work and the like. So how's it been with yours? Just realised my daily T4 has cost a fortune in comparison, suppose it evens out.
