  1. Ive given our Devon Concertina pop top canvas / plastic / vinyl (what is it made of) a scrub with everything I can think of. Bleach, Cif the lot. It has come up ok but not ok enough.

There are no rips in it so I can no way justify £500 for a new one

So here we go :) An old transport company I drove for had curtain sided trucks. The sign writing was painted on to some (not transfers). Could the vinyly plasticy stuff be painted ?? If so what is it called ? I googled it but came up with screen ink,

Buying it seems to bring up stuff that goes in machines :(

    Anyone know

  2. Try t cut on the vinyl and see if it makes an improvement you may have to give it some elbow grease though

  3. I think my fingers are gonna drop off from all the cleaners I used today :( I cleaned the oven before with Mr Muscle ::) due to her ladyships demands :)

Mmmm My main issue is rust marks. The poles were rusty as hell and been left closed :(

Will give it a try Ta

I got quite a lot of gunk and rust stains off our devon vinyl with oxalic acid based fibreglass stain remover gel.
    Then a lot of rinsing.

I buy it from yacht chandlers for my boat and I thought I would try the gel as the stain looked rust like.
It gets rusty marks off boats when the git next door uses an angle grinder on a boat trailer in the boat yard.

  6. Could you flick a bit over :) :) :)
