Have to agree - this is the hairyest motorsport there is I think (speaking as someone that rides big capacity bikes) - the skill and sheer bravery is amazing.

I also suspect a few missing screws are handy when partaking in the TT's!

  8. I just watched 'TT - Closer to the Edge', the film about the 2010 TT where they follow Guy Martin and other riders around for the races. Jeeeezzz, those guys are nutters. Anyone with even a passing interest in motorsport should watch this as it's a great film. I'm not sure if it's bravery, determination or stupidity, but those guys (and girls) are something else. I have the utmost respect for them, it's certainly something I couldn't do.

  9. I did the TT in 2010. My lady had never seen the TT before i raced. I thought mayb the way in to bike racing. She made me sell the bike end of 2010 lol. Amazing experience!

I did hear a rider hit a refuge lorry on the island he was said to be doing a 140mph, Deepest sympathy to the lads family... Dont know the full fact, but it could not of been during the pratice sessions as all the roads leading onto the race circuit are sealed off by barriers...

  12. You ever watched that ghost rider bloke who makes videos ! A mate of mine showed me it don't know if he still makes them but he is off his rocker

  13. Been round the circuit several times while working over there.

Have to say after having a bike for years, drove round the circuit in my van and its bloody scary.

Also did the mountain stage as a pillion.

Those guys have big cahooners. :hattip: :hattip:

He took me round the circuit in his tranny van and scared the heck out of me in that so what it is like on a bike I wouldnt like to think!
