I'm thinking of painting the top, i'm renewing the rivets and resealing the skylight and I've got it back to bare metal but the rest looks in OK condition, i don't really want to remove the H seal as reading the write ups it seems a pig of a job to do esp in situ, so that rules out vinyl. As its aluminium i will need to use the correct primer but i would be looking for a flexible type of paint i guess? any suggestions
Also found this on ebay, expensive but looks like it might be suitable http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PLASTIDIP...t=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item27d290cafa
When I had an early style Devon roof I painted the cap with Thompsons water seal paint. Water still pooled in the dent around the skylight of course but it neatened things up after I'd removed the peeling vinyl. Not sure I'd want to paint a late fibreglass roof but rustoleum would work on one of those
I used white RAL which is the rustoleum stuff. It's awesome, in fact I painted the rest of my bus in red!
