More Happenings at Bugmad Customs in Harlow, Essex, Paul is doing a great job as usual

Fibreglass was a bit worn from the Texas sun

The fibre glass was quite bad after it was rubbed down, lots of visable fibres, so a good shot of high build primer before the final coat of paint

sliding door has some cancer, will be patched up for now, but will prob need replacing long term

 

Paint is looking good, are you still on for Volksworld ?
Shame about the door. I guess you never can tell until you pull a bus apart but seems that overall the bus is in good nick if this is all the rust (including the bottom of windscreen).

 

thats the worst of it lofty, that and as u said the screen, repaired it will last a good few years, but longterm will need replacing i guess

plan is to have it bacl to me midweek next week, friday lunch at the latest, whicj gives me an afternnon to get it packed for volksworld

 

picking up a new windscreen thursday with a top tint to replce the old one that have a big stone chip (not mot failure but as the rest looks shiney)

canvass will be fitted at the weekend

im in splitterz club line up, so will def be there as im 20% of the display.........lol

got camping passes for both bought and paid for

 

front doors, slider and tailgate all in paint now, and my fire extinguisher has been colour coded to match

loads of jobs left to do, but left in the capable hands of bugmad customs in Harlow

Finally got the curtain and window fitted properly, after removing all the rear cupboards to get to em lol



Door cards all fitted



Roof now finished and fitted up with new rubbers.




How hard is it to reproduce a tail light unit!!!! What an arse these were to fit.
