sorry got laxyitis and I know there are some great guides here but.... - can someone post a picture of the lie of the main harness circa 1979 underneath. My intent is to run through a new tube to the engine bay.
Up behind the fusebox, along the top of that shelf then just past the heater controls over to the front of the dash. VW made it too much of a stretch IMO. Here's mine dangling free (ooer missus), all switches etc connected and everything pushed back through the dash. Completely useless to you as none of the loom is where it should be but it's the best I can do. Hopefully it might encourage someone else to post a better one.
I’d just tell him it’s on the RH chassis rail and get underneath to have a shufty. I guess I’m even more grumpy than you and I’m not going to crawl under mine to take a pic. And as it’s far from standard and in a flexible sheath it wouldn’t help his laxyitis anyway.
