We've always celebrated St Patrick's Day in Liverpool and in my family, we also celebrate St George, hell give me a saint or an occasion and I'll raise a glass, not religious in any way but I'm happy when it's Diwali, Eid, National put the bunting out day, life needs a few laughs

it's a shame that people feel the need to 'if they do, then I will'

 

It just has nothing to do with me. I don't celebrate July 4th or Australia Day either.

 

I'll celebrate the opening of pack of biscuit's!

 

Being Irish I have a legitimate excuse for celebrating St P's day. Whilst i've lived my whole life in England the 'English' tend not to celebrate their heritage. There used to be a St Georges Day parade here but it got hijacked by the true patriots this country has to offer, hooligans.

I shall celebrate tonight by looking at booze - not allowed to drink right now
