Handbrake, how many clicks?

    6 = wheel hard to turn by hand.
    If you then let it off and it still drags, new cables.

  6. correct between one and twelve is fine...:thumbsup:

  7. If you have too many clicks, the handbrake lever hits the gear lever in first. 6 is fine.

    Start with 6, then when it comes out a foot from the dash you really ought to adjust the rear brakes.
    If you start with it coming out 12 clicks you'd run out of handbrake and have to adjust the rears sooner.
    It's like petrol - if you like to get out of your car and stand in the cold wind, just put in a gallon at a time, but if you don't you fill it up. :)

    My gear lever in 1st is to the right of the handbrake, but i know what you mean.
