Handbrake boot

  1. I'm after a handbrake boot for a 79 bay, I currently don't have one and as such have a howling gale coming through.

Took me some time to get an og one Col , try silver on here , failing that they are 12.99 at vw heritage .

you could also try the sales section on earlybay its pretty good over there for parts .

I got one from JK and actually have no issues with it. Good product.

  5. I've got a new aftermarket one available.

  9. That was the next question.

Do I disconnect the top of the handbrake and slide it down the arm?

^ yes mate thats the best way to do it.

We found some no nails type stuff to stick it to the floor as well, they are a bit flimsy!

  11. Does the flat bit go internal or external?

I'm note sure if this is the correct way of fitting but we could not get ours to fit through the hole in the floor correctly, it didnt sit right under the van so we glued ours down to the cab floor as we have matting which will sit on top which made it look better!

  13. Ok, cheers.
