so have had my email and paypal acount hacked cancelled everything but they withdrew balance of paypal account and then tried to get more from my bank ! Paypal said they will sort it but how does stuff like this happen ? upto date internet security ,different paswords ,not opened any iffy emails but pi ss ed off really CHECK YOURS
Crikey, makes us all think... A few weeks ago Barclay card phoned my wife, to ask if she was in Morroco... She said "No" "Ok" they said " We'll cancel the transaction trying to go through and send you a new card!"

My pay pal account got hacked a few months ago, came home from work checked my email and found about 30 emails from paypal saying transaction complete secure payemt sent....all of the transactions were for odd small odd amounts all together for about 150 quid, I thought the money was coming straight out of my bank then and there, but when I spoke to paypal I found that pay pal didnt work this way, and it takes a few days for the payment to come out of your bank. I disputed the payments straight away which then stops the money coming out of your bank while paypal investigate...so didnt lose any money thank god Mark
A while back I advertised an expensive item of jewellery on eBay and my OH replied to a message by clicking the yellow reply link in the email and hey presto ! It was a fake link and they hacked his eBay account, pay-pal and credit card details too.
