    Nooo! :(

  2. It's the most dangerous thing he did ,I did'nt realise it was a travel program...o_O

  3. Yes - he was a bit reckless going up that side street without a minder

  4. Dare I say that I found it dull? He's much better doing super cool boy stuff. And let's face it he's not Michael Palin when it comes to engaging travel shows. It doesn't play to his strengths.....

Great to see the flying pigeon push bikes and electric rickshaw race,

The guy stick welding on the tower building..with no eye protection..

Interesting to see the censorship on the web in China..:(

  8. Part 3 is great so far. He's squeezing in his latest record attempt on the bike he rides to work and prepared the night before with some roadside kebabs

  10. Didn't think Guy Martin he could go up in my estimations anymore but just watching him cycle on his fixed gear work bike pretty much non stop across the Chinese desert for nearly 30 hours wearing borrowed trousers and having eaten a kebab to prepare the night before he has! He's a one off

  12. Dare I say it ,but there will be a lot more cyclists now running to china the break his record on proper bikes..

he remides me off someone on here riding his cheap work bike up the mountains without a lot of preparation..;)

  13. I'm sure a few might but not sure how many people could break it as the last record holders were over 12 hours slower and they had all the proper bikes and gear.

However I'm sure Guy doesn't really care as he just had a go whilst there and I expect the local Chinese would welcome those trying anyway.

I also remember reading that after Top Gear did that Vietnam special their tourism increased and helped a lot of people on the route they took the which would hopefully be the same if people did try in China.
