my bus is paint in a cre@m colour , not sure exactly what type of paint but I presume cellulose. It's really grubby when it rains it washes crap down from the front grill and rear slider rail, along with where I've spilt some captain tolleys creeping crack cure It's basically very grubby its almost as if the paint is porous and soaks up the dirt, so basically what's the best thing to use to wipe it clean before a polish and is there a way to seal it to make it a bit more resilient ?
I use Meguiars car products and one of their microfibre cloths to dry it off with. If you've loads of crap behind the front grill and sliding door trims I'd suggest you take them off and give a good clean behind? Still have drips come down from those areas after washing but that's just the way it is I believe. I have farecla wax compound that I use on my bus. Gives a good shine and the water bubbles off a goodun. Hope that helps
