  2. I have never ridden on one but they look the dogs! I was almost tempted to buy one andhave it on the back of the van as a scoot around whilst out camping!

  6. I did particularly like the colours ! Nice one ! Hmm seems like I have to spend more money now (looking for a scooter!! ) How will you carry it on the back? Can you get a proper mount ?

  7. I have bought a transverse trailer to carry it on, as I thought it might make it cheaper on ferries etc. I didn't take into account that they are designed to carry large bikes, so it sticks out a bit (OK a lot...!) Not my greatest idea, but stuck with it now! The colours..white is the original Lambretta Lechler colour, "New White"and the blue is a Citroen colour "Botticelli Blue". Originally from the 70s, it was dropped and then brought back as an option on the latest models, which is where I spotted it. The scooter took four months to build from a bare frame and engine casing (but about 2 years to find all the parts..) the bus a bit longer - 4.5 years and counting! Hopefully up and running this summer, maybe not for touring but for trial runs / tweaks etc.

  8. Fantastic!! Think I will stick with just getting the van back on the road and worry about scooters later - have family to keep happy first!

  9. Beginning to wish I had a scooter again - sold my Li 150 in 1967.

Pushbike for me I think. Plenty of room on the roofrack. I just need a crane to get it up there!
