Good Morning

  1. Good Morning you lovely people,

I have to say that for my sins, I am the proud owner of a 1974 T2 Bay window call 'MAE'.

She is currently a long way from home going through a full ground up restoration with the fantastic Marc, Michelle and team at Border Restorations.

My plan is to have everything done to perfection up to the interior, which I will do at a later date. Hence the joining of this fantastic group. I have already found a plethora of information on interiors, upgrades, heating, electrics and solar panels etc. So I will continue to trawl through the amazing posts and will reach out with any questions (even stupid ones!) that I may have.

And also note to self, check correct email inbox when creating an account (Doh!) Thought I was going mad when I couldn't work out why I wasn't getting the account confirmation email!

    Thanks
    Dave

Welcome from France. Good to see a type 4 engine, is it still an 1800 or something a bit tastier?

  19. welcome.

top tip, don't go to town on upgrades (solar etc) until you've actually camped a few times - just get the basics in place and get out camping - only then will you know what you actually need.
