Good insurance deal?

  1. My good lady and I insure a Vectra 1.8 (worth a few hundred pounds - third party fire and theft) and the classic camper 1979 bay fully comp agreed value reduced mileage.

We both have been driving for countless years with spotless licences/no claims

The car ( with us both as named drivers) costs around £210pa and the Camper ( with us both as named drivers) about £180pa

Both policies come up for renewal in a week or so.

Can anyone suggest a cheaper deal?

    Any useful answers greatly appreciated

Have you tried Cherished Vehicle Insurance (TLB Sponsers)?

I use Towergate Classic Car Insurance for our bays - done via the AA Classic Car Insurance

  3. I rang everyone in the camper and bus mag and then played their prices off against each other, it went down from the cherished quote of £169 (which had gone up by £23 over previous year, they were my insurer) to £129 with euro aa included for free and guaranteed valuation of £13k with limited 5000 miles.

  4. That does sound like a good deal Dubious, I've just a renwal through for the car and they've put it up by £160 from £220 to £380, I want to insure it not buy another one :D
