I keep seeing posts on here about fuel economy at the moment and I have found them somewhat thought provoking to the point that I have tried changing my driving habits out of curiosity to see if there are benefits. So far I have been late for a couple of meetings and managed to get an extra couple of miles to the gallon but apart from that nothing much else to report. With the amount of miles I do (around 1000 a week) my services come around at the same rate and I have once again booked my car in for yet another, as I drive an Alfa you will no doubt understand that this is the hate part of the relationship owing to the fact that a service is never just oil and filter, however there is a silver lining to the cloud this time as the loan car is something a little bit tasty in the shape of a 3.2 V6 and as I have a day off I am just going to waste a whole load of fuel You would too, wouldn't you?
would it be predictable to say drive quickly before it rusts? stuck in the 70's when alfasuds rotted overnight.
