Hot and sunny here in South Wales at a place called Port Eynon. The site is now full but they let a little one in! Some sort of motor home convention. So I am in a field full of them. Multistory white things with wind breakers all around them! Parked next to a T25 though so all is not bad! Gas fridge on chillin my beer happy days
Yeah Zed it's a permanent fitting now. Did a bit of DIY like oiled my bellows and door locks! I wonder if any of these square white boxes will still be around in 40 years time? They are all drinking wine now - me - I'm on the carling! Rough as !
Back home now - what a lovely couple of days. On the way through the country windey roads there were bluebell woods, white hedges full of wild garlic and trees full of blossom. The campsite was right next to the beach - I've been quite a few times over the years and even drove there with some snow on my roof for a New Years Eve BBQ !! I got to be honest, I feel re-energised again after a few months of not feeling energised. My old van though, needs her rusty bits looking at later this year, but for now, I am going to use her as much as I can because she makes me feel good! I was sat at traffic lights in Swansea on the way back home and this guy crossed the road in front of me and stopped to chat! He said he used to own one of these years ago and it's good to see one still on the road! Even little children wave at these vans, they just make everyone feel good. Well done old girl
