Gas safety checks....

  1. Just got the propex heater installed - works a treat on electric, now needing the gas connecting. Anyone know of any gas fitters in the Bristol area who could fit the gas side of the propex and do me a sanity check on the gas fittings for fridge/cooker?

    Cheers

  2. have a look on the "Gas Safe register " web site and the find someone in your postcode area that is registerd to work with LPG

  3. nice one - cheers.

  4. Hi, when I have asked around it seems that 'normal' gas engineers are not too keen on vehicle gas installations. I had the best luck with a caravan servicing company. They are happy to sort the pipework, change the 40 year old rubber pipe work and issue a safety certificate. Unfortunately not local for you though! Have a search on the internet for someone near you and make a few calls.

    Fronk.

  6. Thanks for the info guys, had a look on the registered site and a few local guys say "c@r@v@n$" so might give em a shout and see if they can stretch to a vdub........

  7. Think you'll find that anyone selling/servicing caravans will have someone they use for the gas side of things - they might be able to advise or put you in contact with their guy.
