    Just heard that the legendary Gary Rossington of Lynyrd Skynyrd has passed away.

    RIP. My dad loved Lynrd Skynrd so we had Free Bird as one of his funeral songs.

    Having survived the plane crash that wiped out most of the other members of the band, I think we can say "He had a pretty good innings".
    I'll put some Lynyrd Skynyrd on the record deck tonight.

    And he had two strokes during that one gig years back with another one afterwards..legend!

    as he was in an unlucky band, seen them a couple of times.. Some long tracks. :cool:
