Me ballast has gone in one of me ye old fluorescent strip lights in the garage come workshop. I am going to replace them with LEDs. I have been on the net and can find no definitive answer for lumens per sq foot, they are all different coming in between 80 and 300. Does anyone have any experience in the subject and be able to give me a steer. I have 240 SQ foot, Thanks

I didn't take notice of the lumens etc but my oldest son bought me some for Christmas. A set of 6 'tubes ' that can be linked together or used individually come with connection wires etc.I think they came from Amazon but not certain

Depends what level you want and how uniform you want it. 4 No 5ft LED battens will give you enough light to do most jobs in a standard size garage, if you want a more even distribution fit 6 of them, it'll be bloody bright though.

They look similar to the ones I got from Screwfix. Excellent lights, and you can't have too much lighting in a garage
