fuse rating for gauges

hi sorry for all the questions this mornig but iv got vdo gauge and wondered what size fuse i need for it thanks @matty

 

5 or a 8 doesn't matter much

I've got oil pressure and temperature gauges. I 've taken the power from fuse no 12 on the main fuse box. This is 8 amp and is switched through the ignition switch. It supplies the oil pressure switch, the fuel gauge and the dash lights. This seems to be the correct fuse for later models from 74 - mine is 79.
