  1. VW Baywindow Westfalia Campervan RHD Now Sold
This is Herman an original British Westfalia Continental with a Malaga interior in stunning condition built in 1975.
He has been beautifully restored keeping him as original as possible with a back to metal respray in pastel white, the same colour as when he left the factory. New doors, front and back wheel arches fitted and new window and door rubbers fitted. The underneath is 100% solid with the original paint visible through the old under-seal. The whole brake system has been renewed. New wheels and tyres with a standard set available. Chrome bumpers with new rubber trim. Recon gold engine fitted with approx 2500 miles on it and just fitted with a new carb and alternator and fully serviced. Fabulous interior with new matching upholstery and interior panels with full size RnR bed and double bed in the pop top.
Herman is a pleasure to drive with easy to find gears, great brakes, tight steering and good responsive engine.
Also included in the sale is an original Westfalia awning in pretty good nick and also the front cab bunk. I also have the original engine with matching numbers as confirmed by the Vw auto museum which can be purchased separately if required, it was removed as the oil light was flickering at tick over once warmed up but has 18psi at idle and 48psi at speed. I ran the original engine for a couple months with no problems but could not cure the oil light problem.
This is a very rare British RHD van that were only built to special order so makes this super special. Lots and lots of new parts fitted too many to mention so please study the photos to get an idea of how good this van is. Any inspection is more than welcome. Please call 07766 181574 for lots more info. £18000 ono Van located in Guildford Surrey

  7. Hi more pics. I have since had it re-undersealed. The old underseal was almost like a tar substance with a coat of more modern stuff on top. The whole engine bay was covered in the stuff but has preserved it all amazingly. Cheers Howard
