Hi all, On the fuel pump which has a 'bump' on the top (the one shown in the link below), can someone pls tell me which in the inlet (from tank) & which is the outlet (to carbs) as I cannot see any markings on mine (engine not in yet!). https://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=...2FMechanical-Fuel-Pump-Generator.html;498;440 Also, looking on the interweb, there seem to be fuel pumps for generator models & alternator models - what's the difference in terms of fuel pump? Believe inlet is the side one. And I think the difference for alt and gen is to accommodate larger alternator.
remember to check what length fuel pump rod you have/need for the pump you buy....mismatching can result in all manner of not-niceties
