Looking at my engine the po has bypassed the mech fuel pump and a 12v was balanced in there ? How would I no if original is ok or is this other 1 better option ?
presumably the PO fitted the electric pump to rectify a faulty original....if your engine runs fine, then the 12v pump must be OK...
T4 engines - a while back, for quite few years replacement pumps and repair kits were unavailble, so elec fitted instead and the probably leaking mech pump left in place to stop the oil falling out.
